UMKids invites children age 3 through 5th grade to grow and serve as Jesus' disciples.  Through a variety of programs, kids explore Bible stories, experience God's love, and share the good news of Jesus Christ with others.

UMKids on Sunday Mornings:

Holy Moly:  During the sermon, kids age 3 through 3rd grade may attend Holy Moly in the children's chapel.  Through storytelling and activities, the kids explore a Bible story.  To learn more about the curriculum we use, check the video below:

Spark:  During the Sunday School hour (10:15-11:15am), kids break into age-specific classes to explore a Bible story.  The classes meet in the children's hallway in four classes:  3 and 4 year-olds; Kindergarten and 1st grade; 2nd and 3rd grades; 4th and 5th grades.  Watch the video below to learn more about Spark Sunday School:

UMKids Special Programs:

Every month, UMKids offers a special activity that encourages children and their families to grow as disciples while having a lot of fun.  Activities include VBS, Blessing of the Backpacks, Christmas Cantata, UMKids on a Mission, and Parents' Night Out.  Check out Wightman's calendar for our next event!

We also encourage kids to participate in other Wightman ministries.  Kids serve in our worship services as ushers, acolytes, greeters, crucifers, and communion servers.  They help with WARM project (our home repair ministry) and with Loaves and Fishes (our monthly community meal).  When ministry is happening, we want our kids involved!
